Zermatt Unplugged 2012 - (English)

THE CINCOTTI / GINGOTTI SHOW - When a key changes everything.....

The appointment was scheduled since 3 months ago then April 21st came as a blink of an eye: Peter Cincotti in Concert at the Zermattjewel among the mountains of Switzerland, an ecologist philosophy, practicality and sportif all with something exclusive!

The concert's venue is at the Vernissage BackStage Hotel, has the air of a club with  an intimate stage at which assists a very private audience.

The concert is unplugged....pure music!

The schedule is set for 10:45pm, but only after 15 mins there is movement on stage; first come the drummer and guitarist then the bassist and at the last PETER!

He sits at his mini-electro-piano greeting the audiance; the opening song is "World Gone Crazy" from the new album "METROPOLIS" out soon in May; seven new songs, including: - "Fet you Better" with a charming chorus underlined by the punchy sound of piano - "Take a good look" a rocking ballad flavor - "Graffiti Wall" an origianal "pop-song" - "Nothing's Enough" the electronic-rap-funcky already performed on recent years in concert, - "Do or Die" sparkling hues funky song, with an easy refrain - "Madeline" the soft tones, a gentle ballad with a delicate melody accompanied with the velvety voice of Peter; these songs mixed with other 5 most popular to the audience from his previous albums EOAT: "Angel Town" -"Another falling Star" - "Goodbye Philadelphia" - "Make it out alive" and - "Be Careful".
Set List of the show
Despite some technical problem due to instability of the agreements of mini-electro-piano, which prevent the effective execution of the show, then Peter take under control the situation, joking with the audience about what happened; he explains that the normal arrangements are in C are inexplicably transformed in G.
When once again Peter stops for the same problems, then after the technician fixing and approval of the bassist Malcolm, who they say "It's Ok, now!"
Amused, resigned and incredulous Peter makes sure himself with his guitarist George: "Is in C to you too?! ah ah ah ah ah"

Peter during the show entertaining the audience during technical problems...

The public in spite of everything is really full of enthusiasm with applause and standing ovations even during the critics moments, and appreciates the new songs with great acclaim.

The concert runs in any case with pleasure, on stage every song is a burst of energy; it's amazing to see the complicity that flows between Peter and his band: glances, grimaces, smiles ....in some moments are intensified in rhythm that is pressing and makes it even more alive; the voice of Peter certainly do not lack the strong grit needed to reach and touch the strings of emotion of the melody and the lyrics that can arouse.

The concert ends on notes of "Be Careful" skipping - perhaps for time reasons - the Encore #2 expected from the set list with the new song "Before I go".

Malcolm Gold - Peter Cincotti - George Orlando - Charles Norris III
As the first concert of 2012 also this time Peter didn't disappoint; with hit artistic qualities and uniqueness, with the irony and the smile that distinguish him; for one night he made, a place already magical, even more specialThe Heart!
